I am very busy, so I will be off the social media/other platform until January 2021.
I am a Tech Support Adviser
Okay, time to finally download the MZ trial and see what it can do! :DDD
[Poll] RPG Maker users: Which engine do you use the most these days?
Also in Team Ace, but wouldn't mind making the jump to MZ someday if I can figure the whole Effekseer thing. MZ reportedly has its problems but it seems to be getting better more quickly than MV ever did.
But a big part of me also just wants to buckle down and learn Game Maker or some other engine.
Granted, I gotta get my current project done and out of the way before I think about any of this.

Passive Abilities Didn't Work Quite Right, Fixed Now!
I think you could achieve this with troop event pages, too. Such as
Conditional branch: (Character) Death = false
-Conditional branch: (Character) passive skill learned.
--Conditional branch: (Character) passive state = false
---Apply passive state.
And just run that at the end of every turn. They wouldn't have the buff again for the turn they were revived though. Also you'd have to have this page on every troop in the game.

Making games is too hard!!!
Shelving Project Due to Poor Performance
I don't think it would be too bold of me to say that, when it comes to supersmall indies, there are probably more people making them now than playing them. It's never been a better time to make something: it's getting seen and getting people to actually play them that are the big hurdles we're all facing right now. We're all feeling it on some level.
And remember that a failed project has never truly failed if you learned something from it. A cancelled project could one day lead to a new, even better project.
